With over 30 years’ experience in the for-purpose sector both in Australia and overseas, Debbie has assisted dozens of organisations and community groups to increase capacity, revenue, quality, and impact. Her experience includes turning a near insolvent social enterprise into a viable entity – delivering skills development and work opportunities for people living with mental health challenges.

NFP experience:

. over 30 years in CEO and management roles with NFPs          . consulting to NFP organisations – providing strategic planning, organisational reviews, evaluations, system/program improvements, governance and leadership capacity building.

Areas of expertise: communications, in particular a range of storytelling forms (written, audio and video); end-to-end production of corporate documents; development of communications to assist advocacy; experienced media trainer; skilled in developing in-house internships and mentoring programs.

A former journalist with more than three decades of experience in print and digital media, an experienced academic who has taught at three universities, and an established author, who brings a range of skills from identifying and telling stories to finding the best way to communicate those to a broader audience.

Areas of expertise: change management; mergers, partnerships, strategy & business development, social policy, research. Deep knowledge of disability services, quality, environment, housing and government.

As a consultant Glenn works with Boards and executive teams on strategy, planning, mergers and risk management. He is also keenly interested in ensuring we survive the climate emergency.

Glenn studied at the Harvard Business School, completing the Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management program. He holds three degrees in: social work; social policy and research; and accounting. He is currently a ministerial appointee to the Disability Services Board.

An ex-solicitor (Mallesons Stephen Jacques), former senior manager in the public sector and political adviser who brings a unique mix of political nous, business acumen and a strong understanding of all levels of government.

Trish has a background in family services, family violence, children’s counselling and child safety. Most recently, Trish headed Education and Coaching with Child Wise and prior to that spent over 15 years with Anglicare Victoria and 7 years at Berry Street Victoria. She is a highly experienced, values driven leader who is calm and agile in the face of challenge and change.

• Over 22 years working with family and community services sector NFPs.

Areas of expertise: Individual and group coaching, development & training programs; facilitation; conflict resolution; indigenous employment and training; organisation culture.

Accomplished HR practitioner having led the delivery of best practice reforms in employee life cycle services – recruitment, selection, induction, performance and management capability over many years. Lynne designed and rolled out the awarded Aboriginal employment resource (Kareeta Yirramboi) in the Victorian public service, increased Aboriginal graduate employment from an imperceptible level to 10 per cent of all graduate hires and maintained a 100 per cent retention rate of Aboriginal graduates over four consecutive years.

He has more than 20 years’ of international commercial experience in Asia Pac, India, UK and America. Qualified and experienced in business coaching, IT application systems, business case evaluations, change management, facilitation and training.

Steven has been a senior auditor and consultant with Ernst & Young, CFO of a publicly listed property development company and Financially Controller of a NFP with annual turnover of >$100 M. He possesses a well-balanced blend of people skills and technical competency and believes in team spirit and teamwork to get things done.
