At Map Consulting Group, our clients and consultants are our highest priority, always.

We aim to strengthen the NFP sector, one project at a time. Why? Because NFP organisations make our country fairer and more caring, protect and restore our environment and enhance the health, wellbeing and education of our people.

As a result, these are Map’s core concerns.

But our clients and consultants have also inspired us to broaden our ambitions as a small business.

Over 2022 – 2023 we committed to reduce our carbon emissions and to be active in our support of the ‘Yes’ campaign to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Australian Constitution.

We were inspired by our client Towards Zero Emissions and stirred to rapid action by the work of Saul Griffith (profiled recently on Australian Story and in the Issue 89 of Quarterly Essay) who champions clean electrification (or Rewiring Australia) through the actions of local citizens and communities as a realistic and achievable path to zero emissions.

We are pleased to report that Map has made significant strides towards reducing our carbon emissions in recent times.

Our progress?

    👌Zero emission company vehicle

    👌Smart EV charger

    👌Rooftop solar panels

Map is also supporting the YES campaign to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Australian Constitution.

We will initiate conversations with our stakeholders and raise awareness among our families, friends, networks, and communities.  We will promote the reasons why we are having this referendum and the fact that a voice to Parliament is what Indigenous people want as a form of recognition.

If you would like to discuss or if we can help your organisation to take its first step to zero emissions, we would love to hear from you – Map Consulting Group.
